VINSANTO MIKRA THIRA 2017 named Best Wine of the Competition
We are delighted to announce that VINSANTO MIKRA THIRA 2017 (8 years old) was awarded the highest distinction, “Best Wine of the Competition,” at the Thessaloniki Wine & Spirits Trophy 2026, held on February 25–27, 2026, in Thessaloniki.
At the same time, it also received the title “Best Dessert Wine,” highlighting its quality and distinctive character at the highest level of the competition. The 2017 vintage marks the first release of VINSANTO MIKRA THIRA, making this distinction even more special for our winery.

The 26th edition of the competition was organized by the Union of Winemakers of Northern Greece and featured 974 wines and 71 spirits from Greece and Cyprus, evaluated by 30 distinguished judges from Greece and abroad.
These significant distinctions recognize our collective effort and give us even greater motivation to continue showcasing the unique character of the Santorini vineyard through each of our creations.
